GRABYOURFACE debuts new music video for ‘All I Have Is Love’
GRABYOURFACE has recently unveiled the music video for their song “All I Have Is Love, All I Do Is Destroy,” featured on their album “Sadgirl Mixtape” released on Bandcamp in February 2025. In this new visual piece, the artist is seen engaging in everyday tasks like smoking, walking, and driving, portrayed as rituals that assist in moving on post-breakup. The song delves into the idea of resorting to mundane activities to conceal the underlying feelings of grief and stagnant existence.
The essence of “Sadgirl Mixtape” lies in its compilation of tracks penned over a span of seven years, amalgamated to create what GRABYOURFACE refers to as “the album I always wanted to make.” Designed as a soundtrack for solitary late-night drives, the album merges elements of melancholic electronica and dream pop with somber electronic tones, reminiscent of the artist’s prior work within the industrial and darkwave genres.
Included as a bonus track on Bandcamp is “Je Lui Dirai Les Mots Bleus,” a cover of Christophe’s 1974 hit “Les mots bleus,” written by Jean-Michel Jarre (lyrics) and Daniel Bevilacqua/Christophe (music), initially featured on his album “Les mots bleus.”
“Sadgirl Mixtape” is available for digital download and in CD format directly through GRABYOURFACE’s Bandcamp page, along with streaming availability on major platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
Leading the project is French producer and vocalist Marie Lando, operating under the moniker GRABYOURFACE since the mid-2010s within the industrial, darkwave, and experimental electronic music scene. Describing her sound as a fusion of “coldwave-dustrial hip hop” in a 2018 interview with AnalogueTrash, she melds stripped-back coldwave with industrial grit and emotions leaning towards the emo spectrum.
GRABYOURFACE’s discography kicks off with the “1LLNES$E$” EP, followed by “philophobia” later in 2017. Subsequently, the release of “We Live” with Mantle and her debut full-length album, “Keep Me Closer,” in 2018.
The artist’s repertoire extends to collaborations, such as contributions to Covenant’s “Fieldworks: Exkursion EP” on the track “False Gods” and Moris Blak’s “Complicate” track from the EP “Irregular Revisions Vol 1.” Additional collaborative efforts and split releases include projects involving Caustic, like the split “Not Your Body,” and features with artists like daddybear.
