The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to rock this year with the appearance of Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless. Known not only for her music but also for her role as Cindy Lou Who in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), Momsen recently released her holiday record, “Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas.” Among the tracks on this EP is a rock adaptation of “Where Are You Christmas?” which fans are excited to hear during her debut at the parade.
Scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at noon in all time zones, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC and Peacock, with a replay scheduled for 2 PM later that day. Although the specific float that Momsen will appear on has yet to be identified, viewers can look forward to performances by other artists like Foreigner, Mr. Fantasy, and more.
Reflecting on her EP, Momsen expressed, “Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas” initially started as just one song, but once we entered the studio, it took on a life of its own. There was so much emotion, nostalgia, and chaos wrapped up in it that it felt incomplete to leave it as a standalone track. To truly give it the honor it deserved, I decided to build an entire world around it, resulting in a comprehensive body of work that is much more profound and personal than anticipated.”
