Kasabian, The Black Keys, and Richard Ashcroft to headline Victorious festival
Next year’s Victorious Festival in Southsea, Hampshire, has announced its headliners, featuring prominent acts like Kasabian, The Black Keys, and Richard Ashcroft. The festival, set to take place during the August bank holiday weekend in Portsmouth, is also welcoming other exciting artists such as Nile Rodgers and Chic, Basement Jaxx, and Scissor Sisters.
The lineup reveal for 2026 comes after the previous year’s event faced controversy when the sound was turned off during a pro-Palestine protest by The Mary Wallopers. This incident led to an apology from the organizers, but some bands, such as The Last Dinner Party, decided to withdraw from the festival. Despite the challenges faced in 2025, this year’s festival is set to showcase a diverse range of talent and genres, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.
In addition to the headliners, the festival will feature acclaimed artists like Faithless and The Streets, who will be performing their hit album “A Grand Don’t Come for Free” in its entirety. The lineup also includes the legendary Primal Scream, as well as Bastille and The Vaccines, who will be commemorating the 15th anniversary of their debut album. Afternoon guests at the festival will include Rudimental, Dizzee Rascal, and Sigrid, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Kelis, known for her iconic song “Milkshake,” will grace the stage alongside Jessie J, Vengaboys, Jalen Ngonda, James Arthur, and a host of other British acts. Festival-goers can look forward to performances by The Coral, Hard-Fi, Happy Mondays, Cast, Lottery Winners, Pixie Lott, Doves, Kate Nash, and The Royston Club, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Andy Marsh, the lead booker at Victorious Festival, expressed pride in the lineup for 2026, highlighting the festival’s commitment to offering a diverse and memorable experience for all attendees. He emphasized the hard work of the festival’s passionate team in creating a unique weekend by the sea. The festival aims to bring friends and families together to create lasting memories in Southsea, and Marsh is excited to welcome everyone back for what promises to be an exceptional year.
With an eclectic mix of rock, disco, funk, and dance music, the Victorious Festival is gearing up to deliver an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages. The 2026 lineup is set to showcase a wide range of talent, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy at the festival. Attendees can look forward to a weekend filled with incredible performances, community spirit, and the opportunity to create lasting memories in the vibrant seaside setting of Southsea.
