Others lamented the oversight of The Doors, Smashing Pumpkins, and many more.

While fans were quick to critique the rankings, the top five positions were almost universally agreed upon as indisputable. Following the Beatles at #1, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Queen rounded out the top five.
