Wyoming Woman from Rock Springs Receives Meth Distribution Sentence
A woman from Rock Springs has been given a severe sentence of 140 months in a federal penitentiary for her involvement in distributing methamphetamine, according to law enforcement officials. Court records reveal that Ungricht was pinpointed by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation as a major supplier of methamphetamine in the southwest region of Wyoming. The investigation, commencing in March 2024, involved authorities conducting six controlled transactions with Ungricht, resulting in the procurement of over 600 grams, which is more than a pound, of methamphetamine. Upon her arrest in January 2025, law enforcement officers discovered 44.3 grams of the substance in her possession, along with an additional 241.6 grams at her place of residence.

Ungricht was charged with the offense on May 21, and subsequently entered a plea of guilty on July 29. The sentencing hearing was presided over by U.S. District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on November 19 in Cheyenne.
