Twenty One Pilots to headline P.E.I.’s Sommo Festival in 2026
The fourth edition of the Sommo Festival on Prince Edward Island is set to be headlined by alt-rock duo Twenty One Pilots and pop star Sombr, as announced by the event’s organizers at Whitecap Entertainment. The festival will take place on September 11 and 12, 2026, in Cavendish.
Ben Murphy, CEO of Whitecap Entertainment, expressed excitement over the lineup, stating, “Landing Twenty One Pilots and Sombr is a massive moment for us, and we can’t wait for fans to experience the energy they’re going to bring to the main stage.” The first day of the festival will see Twenty One Pilots captivating audiences with their blend of fan-favorite hits alongside tracks from their latest album, Breach, following their global success with the album Blurryface and hits like “Stressed Out” and “Ride.”
Sombr, a New York City-born pop sensation, will take the stage on the second day of the festival. With over 53 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Sombr has made a significant impact in the music industry. His debut album, “I Barely Know Her,” made its mark by debuting at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Albums Chart and spawning three Billboard Hot 100 hits, including “Back to Friends” and “Undressed.”
The Sommo Festival, which initially debuted in July 2023, has since found a home in mid-September and will continue with this fall schedule for the upcoming edition. Known for its unique blend of music and culinary experiences, the festival offers attendees the opportunity to immerse themselves in a cultural extravaganza.
