Wet Leg releases music video for “pokemon” and reveals UK tour dates for summer 2026.
Triple-Grammy nominees, Wet Leg, have just released a new music video for their track “pokemon” from their latest album, “moisturizer.” This album has achieved the band’s second consecutive Number 1 spot. Following a successful UK and Ireland headline tour, including a notable performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Wet Leg is keeping up the energy by releasing this new video.
“Moisturizer” has been well-received for its strong, dynamic sound, with critics describing it as a bold step forward that maintains the band’s unique blend of humor and vitality. The album has recently earned the band three Grammy nominations, including Best Alternative Performance for their song “mangetout,” Best Alternative Music Album, and Best Recording Package.
The new music video for “pokemon,” directed by Elliott Arndt of Faux Real, follows a surreal storyline featuring Alice Longyu Gao and a giant egg, a quirky concept that aligns with the band’s whimsical visual style. The song itself explores the tumultuous facets of love, spanning from obsession to joy, all within a concise three-and-a-half-minute duration.
