Aerosmith and Yungblud have recently partnered up to bring fans a fresh take on their hit single “My Only Angel.” This unique collaboration has resulted in the release of a new EP called One More Time, which features not only the reimagined version of “My Only Angel” but also three additional brand-new tracks, along with a remixed edition of Aerosmith’s classic song “Back in the Saddle,” featuring Yungblud’s vocals. These tracks mark Aerosmith’s first foray into releasing new music in over ten years. The EP quickly soared to the top of various charts such as the UK Albums chart, the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart, as well as Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Alternative albums charts, currently resting at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, the lead single “My Only Angel” has garnered significant success, landing Yungblud his first number one hit in America and allowing Aerosmith to top the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

Following the successful release of their EP, Aerosmith and Yungblud surprised fans with a stripped-down version of their hit single known as the “My Only Angel (Desert Road Version).” This rendition was transformed into a melodious country-style ballad, featuring the legendary actor, comedian, and musician Steve Martin playing the banjo. Expanding on their country-inspired theme, the talented duo has now unveiled another remix of “Wild Woman,” this time featuring a special guest appearance by country music sensation and GRAMMY® Award winner Lainey Wilson.

Back in September, Aerosmith graced fans with a teaser, offering a new song to be heard exclusively through wireless earbuds for the first time. After a lengthy hiatus of thirteen years, the iconic rock group made their triumphant return with the release of the single “My Only Angel” as part of their collaborative EP with Yungblud, titled One More Time. While the promotional materials for the upcoming release featured only lead singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry, a spokesperson confirmed that all band members, including Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, and Joey Kramer, were actively involved in the project. To fill in for the retired Kramer, Aerosmith enlisted the skillful Matt Sorum to provide his drumming expertise on the EP.

Regarding the thrilling collaboration, Steven Tyler expressed his excitement, calling it a cosmic collision. He described the experience of generating music with Yungblud as an electrifying sensation, bridging generations and infusing rock ‘n roll with a timeless allure. Joe Perry echoed this sentiment, praising Yungblud’s talent and the organic chemistry that emerged during the recording process. Yungblud himself conveyed his long-standing admiration for Aerosmith and the incredible creative synergy that transpired in the studio, resulting in a harmonious flow of music that felt effortless.

With their captivating blend of rock, pop, and country influences, Aerosmith and Yungblud continue to push boundaries and captivate audiences with their dynamic and innovative musical stylings. Their recent releases and collaborations represent a fusion of talent and creativity that promise to leave an indelible mark on the music industry for years to come.
