Yungblud and Aerosmith have collaborated with Lainey Wilson to present a revised version of their track ‘Wild Woman’. Originally introduced in their collaborative EP ‘One More Time’, produced earlier this year through Capitol Records, the song exhibited a blues feel. However, the artists chose to infuse a country vibe into the track, inviting Wilson to provide her vocals to bring a different flair to ‘Wild Woman’. Yungblud expressed his excitement about working with Wilson, praising her inspirational life story and authentic singing style that suited the essence of the song perfectly. The new rendition of the song evolved after Wilson and Tyler united to perform ‘Dream On’ at the annual Jam for Janie benefit in February 2025, aimed at supporting young women and girls who have overcome abuse.

The duo of Yungblud and Aerosmith joined forces after their joint performance at the 2025 MTV VMAs, where they paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. This collaboration marked the beginning of their journey together, leading to the release of the EP which included ‘My Only Angel’ as the lead single. This release represented Aerosmith’s first original music in over a decade. The evolution of their songs continued with the ‘Desert Road Version’ of the lead single, prepared by the artists, bringing a more emotional touch to the song and featuring actor Steve Martin as a guest artist. The initial version of ‘My Only Angel’ debuted at the top of Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, maintaining its position among the top 10 for three weeks.

Yungblud, in addition to his collaboration with Aerosmith, achieved acclaim for his independent album released earlier this year, ‘Idols’. The album included the lead single ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ which was praised by NME and named one of the top 50 songs of 2025. The publication lauded Yungblud’s musical talent and transformation into a definitive rock star, applauding his self-assurance and innovative rock style. Following this success, the artist announced upcoming shows and tours, including intimate performances in London and Kingston and a series of arena shows in the UK and Ireland throughout April 2026, due to high demand. Tickets for these events can still be found online.

Lainey Wilson, the country star, reflected on her role in advocating for women in the music industry in an interview early this year. She emphasized the continuity of the struggle for female representation and progress, affirming her dedication to carrying on the legacy of talented women in the genre. Wilson mentioned notable figures like Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire as inspirations and highlighted the emergence of new female artists making waves with their songwriting skills. Despite the challenges that women face in the industry, she remains determined to navigate and contribute to the ongoing empowerment of female musicians. The collaboration between Yungblud, Aerosmith, and Lainey Wilson signifies a harmonious blend of distinct musical styles and a celebration of female artistry in the industry.
