2026 Tour announced for Japan, North America, and UK
February where they will share the stage with Whirr before returning to North America for a headline tour followed by a UK run. The tour will culminate at their Slide Away festival in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, where they will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album “Tired of Tomorrow” with special guest lineups in each market.
The band’s new song and video for “Purple Strings” present a different side of Nothing compared to their previous release, “Cannibal World.” While “Cannibal World” showcased the band’s industrial-gaze intensity fused with a breakbeat reminiscent of Madchester, “Purple Strings” is a stripped-down, acoustic guitar-led track that showcases the band without their typical vocal filters. Both tracks, along with the upcoming album “A Short History of Decay,” highlight the band’s wide-ranging sound and emotional depth, set to be released on February 27th, 2026, via Run For Cover Records.
The upcoming album, “A Short History of Decay,” marks Nothing’s fifth studio album and promises to be their most sonically expansive and emotionally direct work to date. Lead by frontman Domenic “Nicky” Palermo and featuring a newly solidified lineup including guitarist Doyle Martin, bassist Bobb Bruno, drummer Zachary Jones, and guitarist Cam Smith, the album delves into themes of aging, illness, and memory with raw honesty and clarity.
Nothing’s 2026 tour will kick off in Japan in February, followed by dates across North America supported by Full Body 2, Cryogeyser, and Violent Magic Orchestra. The band will then head to the UK for a series of shows before returning to the US for their Slide Away festival, featuring special guest lineups and performances in multiple cities.
The band’s tour schedule includes a mix of intimate club shows and larger venues, allowing fans to experience their dynamic sound and energetic performances up close. With a diverse lineup of supporting acts and a festival celebrating their musical milestones, Nothing’s 2026 tour promises to be a memorable experience for both new and longtime fans alike.
