Japan Tobacco Corporation (JT) recently announced its collaboration with two prominent music festivals in Japan at the end of the year. The festivals include “COUNTDOWN Japan 25/26” scheduled from December 27th to 31st and “FM802 ROCK FESTIVAL RADIO CRAZY 2025” from December 26th to 29th. As a part of this collaboration, a specially designed smoking area will be established on-site.

The smoking area, known as “Ploom LOUNGE,” will cater to smokers over 20 years old, offering a dedicated space where they can enjoy both heated tobacco and traditional paper cigarettes. Themed as “AURA Stardust,” the lounge aims to transport attendees on a space-themed journey, creating an immersive and unique experience. Notably, visitors will have the opportunity to try out and purchase the Ploom AURA heated tobacco device right at the venue.

In a distinctive move, JT has developed limited-edition front panels for the Ploom AURA specifically for the two music festivals. Four custom panels have been created for each event, totaling eight unique designs. Users possessing a Ploom AURA device or those purchasing one at the festival can exchange their existing front panel for the exclusive festival-themed design at the Ploom LOUNGE, free of charge.

Additionally, the front panel for the “FM802 ROCK FESTIVAL RADIO CRAZY 2025” collaboration will be chosen through the Ploom CLUB member platform. The selection process for this exclusive panel will take place from December 9th to 25th, with further details available on the platform.

The collaboration between Japan Tobacco Corporation and these esteemed music festivals highlights a unique convergence of music and lifestyle. By providing a designated smoking space with a futuristic and captivating ambiance, attendees can enjoy their smoking experience in a setting inspired by the theme of space travel. The availability of the Ploom AURA devices for trial and purchase adds an interactive element, allowing festival-goers to explore the latest in heated tobacco technology.

Furthermore, the offer of limited-edition front panels underscores JT’s commitment to enhancing the festival experience and offering exclusive benefits to Ploom AURA users. The integration of the Ploom CLUB member platform for the selection of front panels adds an element of engagement and participation for consumers, encouraging interaction within the community.

Overall, the collaboration promises a blend of music, technology, and creativity, offering festival attendees a unique and immersive experience at two of Japan’s most significant music events. With the introduction of the specially designed Ploom AURA front panels and the engaging thematic elements, this partnership seeks to elevate the festival experience for smokers and non-smokers alike, bridging the gap between music, technology, and lifestyle.
