Joey McIntyre is currently experiencing a holiday season full of excitement and joy. The New Kids On The Block band member is thrilled about the launch of his latest Roku film, “Jingle Bell Wedding,” following the success of last year’s hit movie, “Jingle Bell Love.” Additionally, he is eagerly anticipating the group’s upcoming Las Vegas residency, which is a staple in their performance schedule. In the midst of these activities, McIntyre is also finding time to introduce some fresh music to his fans.

In an interview with entertainment journalist Courtney Tezeno, Joey McIntyre shares details about New Kids on the Block’s extended Las Vegas residency, his involvement in the new holiday film, and his passion for creating new music. Despite the challenges of following up on the initial film’s success, McIntyre expresses excitement about the sequel, teasing fans about the plot of “Jingle Bell Wedding” and hinting at unexpected twists in the storyline.

Music plays a significant role in the holiday films, with McIntyre contributing original songs to enhance the festive atmosphere. Notably, he co-wrote “A Brand New Christmas” for the first movie and humorously mentions its eligibility for Oscar consideration. For the sequel, McIntyre seamlessly integrated one of his newly released songs from his latest album, “Freedom,” into the film’s narrative. Despite the fictional premise that the characters wrote the song together, in reality, McIntyre wrote it alone.

When asked about his inspiration for the track “I Don’t Need Another Thing But You,” McIntyre immediately credits his family as the primary source of motivation. With a wife and three children who bring him immense joy, he expresses gratitude for their presence in his life, highlighting the importance of quality time with loved ones.

Looking ahead, New Kids On The Block is gearing up for another round of their popular Las Vegas residency at MGM Las Vegas, extending from February to October in 2026. McIntyre promises an unforgettable experience for fans, emphasizing the grand scale of the show and the unwavering support of their dedicated fanbase.

Beyond the stage and screen, McIntyre is also launching a holiday song event called Tinselcolor at CineVita, offering fans yet another opportunity to revel in the holiday spirit. With a new film, album, and Vegas residency on the horizon, Joey McIntyre is paving the way for a busy and successful transition into the New Year.
