Roomful of Blues to Hold Celebration for New Album at Lizzie Rose Music Room
Roomful of Blues, a horn-driven blues, jump, swing, and soul band from Rhode Island, will mark the release of their new album, Steppin’ Out!, with a live performance at the Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton on January 18, 2026. This new album introduces a significant milestone for the band as it features the soulful and full-throated vocalist, D.D. Bastos, making it the first time in their history that Roomful of Blues has recorded with a female vocalist.

Steppin’ Out!, produced by Chris Vachon, comprises 14 lively and moving performances. The album kicks off with an energetic cover of Billy “The Kid” Emerson’s “Satisfied” and includes reinterpretations of songs by legendary artists like Big Mama Thornton, Big Maybelle, Etta James, and more. The band’s current lineup, with guitarist and bandleader Chris Vachon, features the talented D.D. Bastos on vocals, along with musicians like Rich Lataille on saxophone, Jeff Ceasrine on keyboards, and John Turner on bass, among others.
