Guano Apes’ 2000 ‘Pinkpop’ Festival Performance Now Available for Purchase
In a recent release on the ‘Pinkpop Archive’ channel, a live set performed by the German nü-metal/alternative rock band Guano Apes at the 2000 ‘Pinkpop’ festival in Landgraaf, the Netherlands, has resurfaced online. Although the band did not achieve significant success in North America, their debut album “Proud Like A God” reached platinum status in their home country. After disbanding in 2006, the group reunited in 2009 and has been active ever since.
The set, which took place on June 11, 2000, featured Guano Apes performing a setlist from their second album, “Don’t Give Me Names,” which had achieved gold certification in Germany.
