Top K-Pop Groups Including Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, TXT, and BTS are Making Waves
A new list of top performers on the Billboard World Albums chart for the week ending on December 13 has been revealed by Billboard.
Stray Kids maintained their stronghold on the top positions as their recent album “DO IT” and their previous work “KARMA” occupied the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively, this week. Both albums also maintained their position in the top 50 of Billboard 200 for this period. Stray Kids managed to secure a total of six albums on the World Albums chart, with “合 (HOP)” at No. 7, “ATE” at No. 12, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” at No. 20, and “ROCK-STAR” at No. 22.
ENHYPEN’s “DESIRE: UNLEASH” made a significant jump to No. 4 after 27 weeks on the World Albums chart, rejoining the Billboard 200 six months after its initial release. Moreover, their 2024 album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” also climbed up to No. 15 in its 73rd week on the chart.
CORTIS, with their debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,” maintained their position at No. 5 after 13 weeks on the World Albums chart and spent a fifth week on the Billboard 200 at No. 169.
TXT’s Yeonjun’s solo mini-album “NO LABELS: PART 01” continued at No. 6 after four weeks on the World Albums chart. Additionally, TXT’s “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” moved up to No. 9 in its 20th week.
ILLIT’s “bomb” hit No. 8 after 24 weeks, and their 2024 mini-album “I’LL LIKE YOU” re-entered at No. 24 for its 22nd non-consecutive week in the ranking.
BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” claimed the No. 10 position in its 182nd week on the chart, while their 2020 album “Map of the Soul: 7” secured No. 23 in its 154th week.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s “The Action” rose to No. 11 in the 13th week. BTS member Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” retained its spot at No. 16 after 72 weeks on the chart.
ZEROBASEONE’s “NEVER SAY NEVER” returned to the World Albums chart at No. 17 for its 10th non-consecutive week, followed by NewJeans’ “Get Up” at No. 18, currently in its 117th week.
