4 Non Blondes to Release Second Album with Kill Rock Stars After 33 Years
4 Non Blondes has announced a partnership with Kill Rock Stars to release their second album in 2026. This news comes over 33 years since their debut album, “Bigger, Better, Faster, More!” was released. The band’s deal with Kill Rock Stars includes the creation of a new imprint called 670 Records and the launch of a solo album by lead singer Linda Perry.
The collaboration between 4 Non Blondes and Kill Rock Stars began when the label approached Perry’s team earlier in the year with the idea of reissuing her debut solo album, “In Flight,” on vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday 2025. This initial conversation led to talks about creating new music together. Perry will not only release her new solo album, “Let It Die Here,” through this partnership but is also preparing to release the band’s second album, which is currently without a title.
Expressing her excitement about the collaboration, Perry stated, “I’m super excited to partner up with Kill Rock Stars for yet another release. Let It Die Here, my new album, needs a dedicated and creative team behind it. Releasing music is a very personal and intimate experience for me, and I want to ensure that the company I am venturing on this journey with cherishes art and longevity.”
After disbanding in 1994, Linda Perry pursued a successful career as a songwriter and producer, working with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, and P!nk. This year, Perry regrouped with the original members of 4 Non Blondes – bassist Christa Hillhouse, drummer Dawn Richardson, and guitarist Roger Rocha – for a series of live shows. Following these performances, new songs were written by Perry after the band went through rehearsals in San Francisco. The band’s revival received a significant boost when their hit song “What’s Up?” went viral through a mashup with Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap,” reaching the top spot on trending song charts. The trend even caught the attention of celebrities such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Gordon Ramsay.
Currently, 4 Non Blondes has three shows scheduled for later this month in Los Angeles and San Francisco, marking their first live performances since reuniting. With the announcement of their upcoming album release through Kill Rock Stars, fans are eagerly anticipating new music from the iconic band after a long hiatus of more than three decades.
