Authorities release updated video and photos of individual sought in connection with Brown University shooting
Police have unveiled new video footage and photos of a potential suspect in the tragic shooting incident at Brown University that claimed the lives of two students and left nine others wounded. In an effort to gather more information, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for details leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the shooter.
The released images depict an unidentified individual dressed in dark attire roaming the vicinity of Hope, Benevolent, Cooke, and Manning Streets merely two hours prior to the deadly attack. Described as a male with a stocky build and approximately 5’8″ tall, the suspect remains at large, instilling a sense of fear and uncertainty within the community.
Brown University senior, Lila Rizvi, expressing disbelief and sorrow over the tragic events, resonated with many as they laid flowers vigilantly at campus memorials. The lingering presence of the assailant and the continued absence of justice have left many feeling disillusioned and frustrated, including freshman, Fernando Jimenez, who shared sentiments of disappointment in the ongoing search process.
