Iron Maiden to begin 50th Anniversary North American “Run for Your Lives” tour
Iron Maiden has announced their plans for the North American leg of the upcoming “Run for Your Lives Tour” in honor of the band’s 50th anniversary. The tour will span stadiums and major amphitheaters in the United States and Canada, making stops in Toronto, Montreal, Harrison, Boston, Bristow, Charlotte, Hershey, Louisville, Shakopee, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Antonia. The tour will take place from August 29 to September 28, 2026, with a special headlining performance scheduled for Louder Than Life, the largest rock festival in the nation, on September 17, 2026, at the Highland Festival Grounds in Kentucky.
Megadeth and Anthrax are set to join Iron Maiden as support acts for select shows. Megadeth will open the remaining concerts on the tour, with both bands scheduled to share the stage in Montreal, Harrison, Los Angeles, and San Antonio. Iron Maiden’s lead vocalist, Bruce Dickinson, expressed his excitement for the tour, stating, “This whole tour has been such great fun. I really enjoy belting out all these great old songs, and the whole band are loving playing them too!” The setlist promises to include fan-favorite classics like ‘Hallowed,’ ‘Run To The Hills,’ ‘Trooper,’ ‘Number Of The Beast,’ ‘Killers,’ ‘Powerslave,’ ‘2 Minutes…’ and more, some of which have not been performed in the US for over two decades. Additionally, the band plans to perform epic pieces such as ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ and ‘Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.’
