Morrissey unveils tracklist for upcoming album ‘You’re Right, It’s Time’

The tracklist for the new album features titles like “The Monsters Of Pig Alley,” “Headache,” “Make-Up Is A Lie,” and more. Morrissey mentioned in a previous interview that he completed a second album, which was re-recorded in France in late 2023. He expressed that half of the tracks were scrapped and replaced with six new ones, making it a different album from the one initially planned. The journey continued with Capitol for “Bonfire Of Teenagers” in 2021, but disagreements led to constant delays, prompting Morrissey to repurchase the rights to both it and “World Peace Is None Of Your Business” in 2024.

Fans were anticipating the release of “Bonfire Of Teenagers” after Morrissey’s signing with Sire Records, but instead, he decided to push forward with “You’re Right, It’s Time.” The album was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France in 2023 with producer Joe Chiccarelli.
