Throughout the year 2025, I indulged in an impressive number of movies, surpassing 300, with over 100 of them released in the same year. This was a significant achievement for me, and I aim to continue this cinematic pace in the coming year. While my focus on movies was intense, it did result in a decrease in the number of TV series I watched. Nonetheless, I still managed to discover a few series that captured my interest. My music-listening habits have shifted, and I found myself not devoting as much time to full albums. This change may seem somewhat melancholic, but it merely reflects the evolution of my daily routines, such as driving or editing photos. Despite this shift, I curated a list of 15 albums that truly resonated with me this year.

In the realm of music, several albums from 2025 left a lasting impact on me. Titles such as “No Hard Feelings” by The Beaches, “Don’t Take Forever” by The Maple State, and “Cascades” by Magic Wands were standout releases that deserve recognition. Additionally, live music experiences enriched my year, with concerts such as The Pogues at Franklin Music Hall and performances by artists like Say She She and California Honeydrops leaving a lasting impression on me.

My movie-watching journey in 2025 was equally rewarding, with a diverse selection of films capturing my attention. From thought-provoking titles like “Wake Up Dead Man” and “The Long Walk” to entertaining pieces like “Frankenstein” and “Naked Gun,” I explored a variety of genres and narratives. Several documentaries, including “Perfect Neighbor” and “Gone Girls: Long Island Serial Killer,” provided valuable insights and engaging storytelling.

The landscape of TV series also offered a range of experiences, with favorites like “Andor,” “South Park,” and “Stranger Things” captivating my interest. While some shows like “The Bear” and “Only Murderers in the Building” failed to resonate with me, political satire programs like “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” and “The Daily Show” offered insightful commentary and entertainment.

Reflecting on the media I engaged with throughout 2025, it is evident that music, movies, TV shows, and documentaries played a significant role in shaping my entertainment experiences. As the year draws to a close, I look forward to delving into new releases and discovering fresh content in 2026. While uncertainties may loom, the world of entertainment continues to provide solace and excitement, offering a diverse array of experiences to explore and enjoy.
