Triumph extends 50th Anniversary Reunion Tour
Triumph recently announced the expansion of their highly anticipated reunion tour. The Rock and Roll Machine Reloaded 2026 tour is set to commemorate the band’s 50th anniversary and will kick off in April, running through June. To meet the overwhelming demand, Triumph has added a second night in Boston at the Leader Bank Pavilion, with tickets already available for purchase. Additionally, the band has relocated their Chicago show from the Rosemont Theater to the larger Allstate Arena, with tickets for the extended Chicago date becoming available on January 7th. The band also revealed that April Wine will be providing support throughout the tour.
Fans of Triumph have eagerly awaited this reunion, as the iconic band’s original lineup of guitarist and vocalist Rik Emmett, drummer and vocalist Gil Moore, and bassist Mike Levine have not performed together since their two shows at the Sweden Rock Festival in 2008. While Triumph continued to tour after Emmett’s departure in 1988, with Phil X taking his place, the trio has not shared the stage for quite some time. Moore shared his thoughts on the reunion, highlighting the impact that their music has had on fans over the years, leading to the current wave of appreciation and support that facilitated this reunion.
The tour will see Triumph joined by Phil X, who is known for his work with Bon Jovi, along with bassist and vocalist Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz, both recognized for their collaborations with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Fans got a taste of what to expect during a special performance in June, where they performed three songs together in Edmonton during the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The reunion tour, titled The Rock and Roll Machine Reloaded 2026, will include shows in various cities across North America. Some of the notable tour dates include stops in Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Detroit, New York, and many more. The band will wrap up the tour with two final shows in Boston in early June, offering fans one last opportunity to catch this legendary band live on stage.
