Chicago artist Joe Glass, a member of Kai Slater’s Sharp Pins, has recently unveiled his latest lo-fi power-pop album titled Snakewards on Hallogallo Tapes, a label belonging to the lifeguard associate. Available in cassette form, this release feels fitting for the raw and authentic nature of the music.
On his Instagram account, Glass characterizes Snakewards as “13 scrap-rock sketches straight from the heart to the gut.” He ponders, “Maybe we can hold onto rock’n’roll for just a little longer?
