His style, influenced by West Side soul, has captivated audiences worldwide for over 15 years. Igor Prado, a Blues Music Award nominee, is acclaimed as one of the most exciting contemporary blues guitarists globally. A self-taught, left-handed guitarist who plays a right-handed guitar upside down, Prado is known for his scorching solos and timeless tone. His album with Igor Prado Band, “Way Down South,” earned critical acclaim and a BMA nomination for Best New Artist Debut. Prado’s ability to effortlessly transition between blues, soul, and funk genres has solidified his reputation as a captivating live performer at top blues venues and festivals around the world.
