Lamb of God reveals upcoming album ‘Into Oblivion’ with exclusive vinyl and new song

Lamb of God has revealed details about their upcoming album “Into Oblivion” set to be released on March 13 via Epic Records. The album, which follows their 2022 release “Omens,” includes the recent singles “Parasocial Christ” and “Sepsis,” alongside the title track, “Into Oblivion,” which has just been unveiled. Vocalist Randy Blythe describes the album as a reflection of the current state of society, particularly in America, commenting on the rapid degradation of social norms over the years.

“The title ‘Into Oblivion’ speaks to the direction we are headed. This album explores the breakdown of the social contract, exposing the acceptance of behaviors today that would have shocked people just two decades ago,” Blythe explains.

The new track, “Into Oblivion,” embodies the signature intensity and power that Lamb of God is known for, offering listeners a raw and impactful experience. Accompanying the song is a compelling music video directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts, enhancing the thematic elements of the song.

In addition to the album release, Lamb of God is preparing to embark on a North American tour with a stellar lineup featuring Sanguisugabogg, Kublai Khan TX, and Fit for an Autopsy. Following the tour, the band will host the Headbangers Boat cruise, with a lineup that includes The Dillinger Escape Plan, Kylesa, In Flames, GWAR, Death Angel, and more.

The tour kicks off on March 17 at The Theater MGM National Harbor in National Harbor, MD, and includes stops in Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, and other major cities across North America. The final show in the tour is scheduled for April 26 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA.
