Lamb of God unveil new album ‘Into Oblivion,’ release music video for title track.

Lamb of God is gearing up for the release of their new album, “Into Oblivion,” set to hit shelves on March 13. The band, with its roots in modern metal, has released two tracks from the upcoming album and a music video for the title track. The album, which will be their first full-length release in four years, showcases their signature groove and a deliberate yet untethered approach.

Guitarist Mark Morton expressed his excitement about the album, highlighting the band’s creative freedom to make music they find appealing without adhering to any trends or expectations. The vocalist, Randy Blythe, explained that the album’s title, “Into Oblivion,” reflects the current societal breakdown, particularly in America, where things deemed acceptable today would have been shocking two decades ago.

The band released two singles leading up to the album announcement – “Sepsis” and “Parasocial Christ.” The former pays homage to the Richmond underground scene of the early ’90s, shaping Lamb of God’s music roots, while the latter captures the band’s classic style with a three-minute intense track. The music video for “Parasocial Christ” directed by Jon Vulpine reflects the song’s intensity and narrates a man’s descent into madness.

In March, Lamb of God will embark on a North American tour, promising to deliver the heaviest music experience of 2026. The tour, presented by Live Nation, will include support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Fans can purchase tickets starting this Friday, November 21, with VIP packages available as well.

Mark Morton emphasized the tour’s intensity, describing it as a collection of some of the heaviest riffs ever assembled under one roof. The band’s celebratory 25th-anniversary concert in 2025 marked a significant milestone in their career, followed by a powerful rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Children of the Grave.”
