Nite Sports, Movielife, Incendiary, American Nightmare share new music
Nite Sports, a relatively new band hailing from New York City, boasts a lineup of seasoned musicians known in the punk and hardcore scene. Comprised of Vinnie Caruana from The Movielife and I Am The Avalanche on vocals, Jim Carroll from American Nightmare, Angel Du$t, The Hope Conspiracy, and Suicide File on guitar, Brian Audley from Incendiary on guitar, Christopher Todd from Common Sage and formerly from Sannhet on drums, and tattoo artists Henbo Henning and Justin Weatherholtz from the Good Luck NYC tattoo shop on lead vocals and bass respectively, Nite Sports debuted with their first single “The Wire” last spring.
Their music exudes a blend of fun, catchy, and triumphant garage punk vibes that listeners find irresistible. Following their initial release, Nite Sports recently dropped their second single titled “Seventeen,” continuing to impress with their spirited energy and infectious melodies. The accompanying music video for “Seventeen” serves as a visual representation of the band’s dynamic sound and electrifying presence on stage.
This emerging band is set to kick off an exciting string of shows as they open for Long Island’s stalwarts Warped Weeble Wobbles at Amityville Music Hall alongside Victory Garden and Crush Us All, a Seaweed cover band featuring Vinnie Caruana and other prominent members of the hardcore scene. Vinnie Caruana will also join The Warped Weeble Wobbles on guitar, providing the audience with a special performance filled with classic Weebles hits, cameos from LIHC legends, and a setlist that promises to delight longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Not resting after their stint with Warped Weeble Wobbles, Nite Sports is slated to open for Nightmare Of You on their three 20th-anniversary shows commemorating their debut album. These shows will take place at The Webster Underground in Hartford on February 13, House of Independents in Asbury Park on February 14, and finally, Bowery Ballroom in NYC on February 15. Fans can expect an electrifying lineup and an unforgettable musical experience from these talented artists.
