Catch The Young, a band hailing from Korea with a penchant for alternative pop-rock music, has unveiled their inaugural full-length album entitled EVOLVE. This release marks a significant milestone for the group, who have been steadily building their discography with two mini-albums and a string of singles following their debut in November 2023. Specializing in what they dub as “youth pop-rock,” Catch The Young delves deep into the essence of “youth” through their music, exploring themes such as emotional scars, anxiety, personal growth, and optimism.

The band’s leader and bassist, Sani, expressed excitement over the release of EVOLVE, emphasizing the effort and dedication poured into this album. With a promise to connect with their international fanbase in the coming year, Catch The Young aims to reveal a side of themselves unseen before, showcasing their musical prowess and inviting audiences to anticipate what’s to come. EVOLVE is brimming with 14 original tracks, all meticulously crafted and produced by the band members themselves.

The album’s titular track, “Amplify,” serves as a testament to Catch The Young’s unwavering commitment to their craft, channeling determination, vigor, and a steadfast resolve to amplify their music despite any obstacles in their path. Each band member shines in solo tracks, with Sani delivering “28 Hours,” a song exploring sleeplessness and disorientation, Namhyun crooning “I’m Already In Love With You,” a heartfelt ode to love’s transformative power, and Junyong’s ethereal “Reperio” nudging listeners to savor the present moment.

Not forgetting to express gratitude, Catch The Young includes the touching “지금 내 앞에 서 있는 네게 (To You, Standing Before Me),” a track dedicated to those who have supported them on their journey. Through their music, the band extends a hand of hope, inviting listeners to share in their joy and promising more memorable experiences down the road. EVOLVE wraps up with “The Young Wave (2026 Remix),” a reimagined version of the band’s first instrumental track, breathing new life into familiar melodies.

As the year 2025 unfolded, Catch The Young unleashed a series of singles and graced the stages of prominent Korean music festivals, including the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival, and Sound Planet Festival. Noteworthy mentions go to Sani and Kihoon’s participation in Mnet’s global band survival show, STEAL HEART CLUB, where they left their mark with spirited covers of popular K-pop hits like “Drowning” by WOODZ and “Lovesick Girls” by BLACKPINK.

Looking ahead to 2026, Catch The Young is primed to continue promoting EVOLVE, crafting new music, and taking their artistry to an international audience, eager to meet their fans from around the world face-to-face. As a band on the rise, Catch The Young’s unwavering commitment to their craft and dedication to their fans positions them as a force to be reckoned with in the realm of alternative pop-rock music.
