Dropkick Murphys reveal opening acts for Boston St. Patrick’s Day Weekend concerts

The band’s Boston shows for St. Patrick’s Day weekend will feature exciting support acts alongside Dropkick Murphys. On Friday, March 13, the lineup at MGM Music Hall at Fenway includes Showcase Showdown, Haywire, and Vigilantes. Following that, on Saturday, March 14, there will be a charity mini-concert at 2:00 PM at MGM Music Hall at Fenway with Dropkick Murphys, and later in the evening, Haywire and The Aggrolites will take the stage. The show on Sunday, March 15 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway will feature Unseen, Ducky Boys, and Haywire. For the grand finale on Tuesday, March 17 at Citizens House Of Blues, Dropkick Murphys will be joined by The New Darkbuster, Reducers S.F., and Big Bad Bollocks to close out the tour.
Embarking on their U.S. trek from February 9 starting in Portland, ME, Dropkick Murphys will be accompanied by The Aggrolites and Haywire for almost all the tour dates. The special annual St. Patrick’s Day Weekend shows in Boston will bring together fans from all over the world to celebrate. The tour culminates with a night of classic punk rock on St. Patrick’s Day at Citizens House Of Blues in Boston.
The 2026 St. Patrick’s Day weekend shows in Boston mark Dropkick Murphys’ 30th anniversary and will include a unique family-friendly mini-concert and meet & greet at MGM Music Hall at Fenway on March 14 at 2:00 PM. This special event will contribute to the band’s charitable foundation, The Claddagh Fund, and each adult ticket holder will be able to bring two children under the age of 13 for free.
In addition to their live performances, Dropkick Murphys have announced a collaboration with Haywire on a 12-inch vinyl split LP titled “New England Forever.” The bands, who bonded while touring Europe last fall, have each recorded three original songs along with cover versions of each other’s songs. Haywire covered Dropkick Murphys’ “The Boys Are Back” and Dropkick Murphys covered Haywire’s “Always By My Side.” Fans will be able to get their hands on this exclusive LP during Dropkick Murphys’ St. Patrick’s Day Tour.
Touring in support of their 2025 album “For The People,” Dropkick Murphys continue to stand up against injustices in the United States with a fervor that harkens back to the band’s punk rock roots. “For The People” is more than an album title; it’s a statement of the band’s values and identity.
