Tom Morello excludes Brazil from Latin America tour
Tom Morello has recently revealed plans for an upcoming tour of Latin America. However, much to the disappointment of Brazilian fans, Brazil was not included in the tour itinerary, which comprises a total of six shows.
Making the announcement via social media, the acclaimed Rage Against The Machine guitarist enthusiastically shared the news, stating, “Are you ready for Tom Morello’s Anti-Imperialist Rock N Roll tour of Latin America?!? I AM!! In March! Costa Rica is already sold out! I can’t wait.”
Following the announcement, an outpouring of responses from Brazilian fans flooded the post, with many questioning the absence of Brazil from the tour lineup. A common sentiment expressed among fans was the desire for Morello to visit Brazil, with comments featuring the country’s flag. Fans expressed their feelings by stating, “We’re Latinos too, okay?” and questioning, “Where’s Brazil, buddy?” among other appeals, such as “Come to Brazil.”
Tom Morello’s forthcoming return to South America forms a significant part of his 2026 tour, commencing with shows in Argentina on March 11 and extending to various festivals across the US and Europe. While Brazilian fans may have to wait a bit longer for Morello’s arrival, the guitarist’s previous solo shows in Brazil at the Best of Blues and Rock festival in São Paulo in 2023 left a lasting impression.
The absence of Brazil from the tour announcement may come as a disappointment to many fans, especially given the strong support Morello has received from Brazilian audiences in the past. Nevertheless, the prospect of Morello’s return to South America for a series of performances in neighboring countries signals an exciting opportunity for local fans to experience his electrifying performance first-hand.
As Tom Morello gears up for his Anti-Imperialist Rock N Roll tour of Latin America, fans can only hope that future tour plans or additional announcements may include Brazil, providing an opportunity for Brazilian fans to witness the iconic musician’s live performances once again. Until then, fans await further updates on the tour and the possibility of Brazil being added to the lineup.
