In recent updates, Alex Van Halen has revealed his ongoing work on a new record, with renowned Toto guitarist and session maestro, Steve Lukather, reportedly involved in the project. Expressing his excitement, Van Halen shared, “I’m getting ready to do this record with Lukather and a couple other people. It should be exciting.” Lukather’s collaboration with Eddie Van Halen in the past has been acknowledged, with Van Halen discussing their strong professional bond in previous interviews.

During an interview with De Telegraf in March 2025, Van Halen touched upon his camaraderie with Lukather, emphasizing their close working relationship.
