Heartland Church marks 25 years of ministry
Heartland Church is gearing up to commemorate 25 years of ministering, impacting the community, and providing spiritual guidance with a city-wide 25th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, Feb. 1 at the Fishers Event Center from 6 to 8 p.m. Since its inception in 2001, the church has been dedicated to investing in the next generation and catering to individuals from various backgrounds, growing from a small local congregation into a diverse, multiethnic church community with far-reaching influence nationally and internationally. Throughout the past 25 years, Heartland Church has earned a reputation for its dedication to nurturing faith, engaging with the community, fostering leadership skills, and establishing partnerships that transcend cultures, beliefs, and age groups.
During the anniversary celebration, attendees will reflect on God’s unwavering support over the past 25 years while pondering the future trajectory of Heartland Church and its ongoing mission to serve the city of Fishers and communities worldwide. The event will bring together both current and past members, local leaders, ministry associates, and friends of the church, encompassing those who participate in services both in person and online. The church’s growth and embrace of diversity have been hallmarks of its journey. Today, the congregation is composed of individuals from various age groups, backgrounds, and ethnicities who are bonded by a shared commitment to their faith, community service, and unity. Through initiatives focused on local outreach, global collaborations, and a strong emphasis on empowering youth and families, Heartland Church has made a significant impact in transforming lives and fortifying the region.
The 25th Anniversary Evening Celebration promises to be a memorable occasion filled with worship, prayer, and insights from faith leaders, government officials, and longstanding allies who have supported Heartland Church throughout its history. Among the notable attendees are Rabbi Aaron Spiegel, President of GIMA; Jo Anne Lyon, General Superintendent Emerita of the Wesleyan Church; Scott Fadness, Mayor of Fishers, Indiana; Jeffrey Johnson Sr., Pastor Emeritus of Eastern Star; Naomi Raine, a six-time Grammy Award-winning artist; and Aaron Lindsey, a six-time Grammy Award-winning artist, producer, and songwriter.
