Besides performing with Foreigner on a few selected occasions this year, the original singer of the band, Lou Gramm, is also introducing new solo music to his fans. Recently, he released the first single, “Young Love,” from his upcoming album titled “Released,” scheduled for release on March 27.

The album features 10 original tracks that were co-written by Lou and his former Black Sheep bandmate Bruce Turgon. Lou described the album as a collection of unreleased songs recorded in the 1980s during the production of his previous solo albums. He mentioned that these songs have a powerful and heartfelt quality with a vintage sound, transferred directly from his old multitrack tapes. Lou expressed his excitement about finally releasing this album, stating, “It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete.”

“Released,” produced by Lou himself, includes guest appearances by bassist Tony Franklin and Def Leppard’s Vivian Campbell on guitar. Lou is also set to perform at the 70s Rock & Romance festival cruise from March 21 to 28.
