Bring Me The Horizon and Zara Larsson to Perform at 2026 Sziget Festival in Hungary
Over 40 new acts have been added to the lineup of the Sziget Festival, featuring renowned artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Zara Larsson, Loyle Carner, and Wolf Alice. Festival founder, Károly Gerendai, initially had doubts about securing top performers for the 2022 festival due to delays in the planning process. Despite this, he expressed confidence that the festival’s musical roster will compete with the best in the international festival scene.
Gerendai emphasized the importance of the Sziget Festival offering attendees a unique experience beyond just live music performances. It is crucial for the festival to cater to a diverse range of genres and feature high-quality and relevant performers to satisfy the varied musical preferences of its audience. The goal is not only to provide entertainment but also to shape and influence the tastes of music enthusiasts.
Some of the headlining acts announced earlier included Twenty One Pilots, Florence + The Machine, SOMBR, and Lewis Capaldi. The recent additions to the lineup include British heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon, acclaimed pop sensation Zara Larsson, alternative rockers Wolf Alice, and hip-hop artist Loyle Carner. Bring Me The Horizon, known for their spectacular live shows, has become a global rock powerhouse with numerous accolades and millions of album sales.
Zara Larsson, who gained fame with her Midnight Sun album, is recognized for her vibrant pop music and captivating live performances. Wolf Alice, fronted by Ellie Rowsell and noted for their signature sound, will make a return to Sziget after a hiatus. Loyle Carner, a socially conscious rapper from South London, has garnered a massive following for his introspective lyrics and engaging performances.
On the Revolut Stage, Australian electronic music artist Chet Faker will showcase his unique fusion of soul, electronic, and indie pop sounds. Joining him is electropop group Parcels, known for their chart-topping releases and sold-out shows across the globe. The lineup also features a diverse array of DJs, including Nia Archives, Argy, Richie Hawtin, Sara Landry, and Yousuke Yukimatsu, promising an eclectic mix of electronic music genres.
The festival will also showcase Hungarian talent, with acts like Beton.Hofi, Analog Balaton, Ivan & The Parazol, and Mehringer joining the lineup. Beton.Hofi dominated the Album Top 100 chart last year, solidifying their place in the local music scene. The Sziget Festival aims to create a memorable experience for attendees, offering a wide range of musical genres and captivating performances by both international stars and local talent.
