Mothers Finest: Funk Music Ready to Rock at Music Festival

Founded in the year 1970, Mothers Finest has been dishing out their unique blend of music for over 55 years. The band’s motto, “Too Funk for Rock, Too Rock for Funk,” has resonated with fans across various genres, although it doesn’t really define their sound accurately. Hailing from Atlanta, this six-piece ensemble consistently delivers music that transcends boundaries and pleases audiences everywhere they go. Unquestionably, they are some of the most dedicated performers in the music industry, earning them a massive fan base both in Europe and the United States.

Upcoming shows for Mothers Finest include performances at the Newberry Opera House on February 6, followed by a show at The Premier in Hickory the next day. The band will then move on to play at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center for two nights before hitting Marietta, Raleigh, Alexandria, Camden SC, and Williamson GA.

Mothers Finest will make their way to Kunstrasenbonn Open Air in Germany on July 8, where they will share the stage with Nile Rodgers & Chic and Kid Creole & The Coconuts. Following this, they are scheduled to perform at Classic Rock Night in Winterbach on July 31, alongside Uriah Heep and Wishbone Ash. The band is also set to embark on the Mothers Finest Too Funk for Rock, Too Rock for Funk five-night Caribbean Cruise departing from New Orleans on September 14-18.
