Slam Dunk Festival has officially announced its return to mainland Europe for the year 2026, unveiling festival dates in both Germany and Italy as part of an extensive summer lineup. The headline act for both European shows will be the formidable hardcore band, Knocked Loose, marking a significant year for the group following the release of their latest single with Denzel Curry.

The decision to expand into Europe comes hot on the heels of the news that Knocked Loose will be headlining the main stage at Slam Dunk Festival UK on back-to-back days, with performances scheduled for Hatfield Park on May 23rd and Temple Newsam on May 24th. These shows will be the band’s only UK appearances of the summer before they make their way to Europe at the end of May.

The 2026 European tour will be a historic one, with Slam Dunk making its debut in Germany for the first time. The festival will take place at Turbinenhalle 1&2 on May 29th, featuring Knocked Loose as the headliner alongside other acts like Paleface Swiss, Stand Atlantic, Hawthorne Heights, Static Dress, Holywatr, and Sweet Pill. The excitement doesn’t end there, as Slam Dunk will then head to Italy on June 1st, with Slam Dunk Italy set to rock Circolo Magnolia in Milan. The Milan lineup includes Knocked Loose, Paleface Swiss, Gorilla Biscuits, Stand Atlantic, Hawthorne Heights, Static Dress, Holywatr, and Sweet Pill, bringing the European leg of the tour to a thrilling close.

Since its inception in 2006, Slam Dunk Festival has evolved from a one-day event into the UK’s largest independent rock festival, establishing itself as a crucial part of the alternative music scene and a platform for both established artists and up-and-coming talent. As the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, the addition of the European dates represents a significant milestone for the brand.

Tickets for Slam Dunk Europe will go on sale on February 19th at 9 am GMT, while tickets for Slam Dunk UK are already available and selling rapidly.
