Shake the Lake 2026 classic rock festival lineup revealed by Regina Leader Post
Regina’s iconic summer classic rock festival, Shake the Lake, is making waves ahead of schedule in 2026. The event is set to unfold on August 21 and 22 at the picturesque Conexus Arts Centre grounds with a stunning view of Wascana Lake.
This year’s lineup for the much-anticipated event was unveiled recently, kicking off the excitement for what promises to be a stellar weekend of outdoor musical performances. The first night will feature acclaimed artists such as Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts, Honeymoon Suite, and headliner Sugar Ray. The festivities will continue the next day with electrifying performances by Wide Mouth Mason, Headpins, 54-40, and Smash Mouth.
The star-studded lineup is predominantly Canadian talent, with the exception of headliners Smash Mouth and Sugar Ray hailing from the United States. Sugar Ray, fronted by the charismatic Mark McGrath, boasts a repertoire of chart-topping hits including Fly, Every Morning, Someday, and When It’s Over. Meanwhile, Smash Mouth, now fronted by Zach Goode following the demise of founder Steve Harwell in 2023, is best known for iconic tracks such as Walkin’ on the Sun, All Star, Then the Morning Comes, and Can’t Get Enough of You Baby.
