Born in Rochester, New York, in 1950, Louis Andrew Grammatico, known as Lou Gramm, started his career in 1974 and is best known for his role as the lead vocalist of Foreigner. Besides his work with Foreigner, Gramm has been a part of several other bands, including Black Sheep, Shadow King, and Liberty N’ Justice. His musical roots stem from his upbringing, with his mother, Nikki, being a singer and his father, Bennie Grammatico, a trumpeter and bandleader.
