Paul Rodgers of Bad Company to headline Adopt the Arts’ Sound & Vision Awards
Paul Rodgers, frontman of the legendary rock band, Bad Company, is all set to take the stage at the highly anticipated Adopt the Arts Sound & Vision Awards event. The awards ceremony will honor both Rodgers and Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath.
Rodgers excitedly shared the news with his fans on Instagram, mentioning that he will be performing a couple of songs at the event, with rehearsals slated to start soon. The event is scheduled to take place on March 2 at the Plaza Theatre in Palm Springs, California. The musical director for the night will be none other than Guns N’ Roses drummer and Adopt the Arts founder, Matt Sorum, who will lead an all-star lineup performing the music of the honorees.
Confirmed musicians set to perform at the event include renowned names like Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple, Steve Stevens, the guitarist for Billy Idol, Phil X from Bon Jovi, Lzzy Hale from Halestorm, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme, as well as Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots, and more. Additionally, Geezer Butler is also expected to grace the event with a performance of his own.
Tickets for this extraordinary event are currently available for purchase to the general public. Adopt the Arts Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is the driving force behind this event, aiming to provide high-quality music education to underserved elementary schools. Rodgers had previously collaborated with them in 2025 by joining students from the foundation’s honor choir for a unique rendition of Bad Company’s hit, “Rock and Roll Fantasy.”
Despite being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November, Rodgers unfortunately missed the ceremony due to health reasons. But now, fans and music enthusiasts alike are eagerly looking forward to seeing him rock the stage once more at the Sound & Vision Awards.
