Paul Rodgers of Bad Company set to perform at Sound & Vision Awards hosted by Adopt the Arts
Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers is scheduled to appear at the upcoming Adopt the Arts Sound & Vision Awards ceremony, where he will share the stage with Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler. Rodgers expressed his excitement for the event on social media, stating that he plans to deliver a couple of songs during the performance rehearsals, which are set to commence soon.
The prestigious event is slated to take place on March 2 at the Plaza Theatre in Palm Springs, California. Renowned Guns N’ Roses drummer and founder of Adopt the Arts, Matt Sorum, will serve as the musical director for the evening. An impressive lineup of musicians including Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, Billy Idol’s guitarist Steve Stevens, and Bon Jovi’s guitarist Phil X, amongst others, will be honoring the musical legacy of Rodgers and Butler.
The night promises a star-studded showcase celebrating the musical contributions of the honorees, with performances by a stellar cast that includes Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt, among others. The crowd can also expect a special performance by Butler himself.
Tickets for the event are currently available for purchase, offering fans the opportunity to be part of this unique and memorable celebration. The Adopt the Arts Foundation, a charitable organization committed to providing music education to underserved elementary schools, is the driving force behind the event. Rodgers previously collaborated with the foundation in 2025, joining ATA’s The Changels honor choir for a special rendition of Bad Company’s classic track, “Rock and Roll Fantasy.”
Although Rodgers and Bad Company were recently honored with induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, he unfortunately missed the ceremony due to health reasons. Nonetheless, his upcoming performance at the Sound & Vision Awards is sure to captivate the audience and celebrate his enduring musical legacy.
Overall, the Adopt the Arts Sound & Vision Awards promises to be a night filled with exceptional music, heartfelt performances, and a celebration of the transformative power of music education. With Paul Rodgers headlining the event alongside other music icons, attendees can look forward to an unforgettable evening of musical excellence.
