Sepultura, the iconic Brazilian metal band, has officially set a release date of April 24th for their final EP, “The Cloud Of Unknowing,” through Nuclear Blast. This EP, consisting of four songs, includes drumming from their last drummer, Greyson Nekrutman, and kicks off with the track “The Place.” In the words of Sepultura’s vocalist, Derrick Green, this song delves into the struggles faced by immigrants:

The song sheds light on the journey of immigrants who seek solace and a fresh start in a new place. However, as they integrate into a society built on false security and relentless propaganda, they find themselves lashing out against the very aspects they despise about themselves. The lyrics mirror this inner turmoil, navigating through disappointment and culminating in anger.

Amidst preparations for their farewell tour, which was initially revealed in December 2023, Sepultura is gearing up for the concluding stretch of performances.

The EP “The Cloud Of Unknowing” will feature the following tracks:

– All Souls Rising
– Beyond The Dream
– Sacred Books
– The Place
