Sepultura reveal their last album, “The Place,” now available for streaming | MetalSucks
Brazilian metal band Sepultura, known for their groovy and thrashy tunes, is coming to the end of their remarkable journey. After years of rocking out and enduring lineup changes, the curtain is set to fall as they prepare to release their final EP and wrap up their ‘Celebrating Life Through Death’ tour.
The band’s swan song, entitled The Cloud Of Unknowing, is slated for an April 24 release. This EP showcases four fresh tracks, with the lead single “The Place” already available for streaming.
Vocalist Derrick Green delves into the theme of “The Place,” shedding light on its narrative about immigrants seeking refuge in a new land. He elaborates on how these individuals grapple with false security and media manipulation, leading them to project their self-hatred onto others. Green believes the track effectively captures the progression from disappointment to anger.
The Cloud Of Unknowing will hit the shelves on April 24 through Nuclear Blast Records. Fans can secure their copy pre-release.
