A man was taken into custody outside Nancy Guthrie’s residence after allegedly driving by the location “50 to 100 times.” The unidentified individual appeared suspicious to a photographer who noticed him, leading to his arrest by law enforcement authorities Thursday night, as per TMZ.

The photographer reportedly saw a photo of Guthrie on the man’s phone before informing the police. The man was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) after failing a field sobriety test following a prolonged conversation with officers, NewsNation’s Brian Entin reported.

Meanwhile, a newly unveiled video provided to Fox News Digital depicts several vehicles moving near Nancy Guthrie’s home during the night she was kidnapped. Footage captured from a Ring doorbell surveillance camera placed at a neighboring residence displays 12 cars passing by between 12:30 am and 6 am on February 1, with one video recorded at around 2:36 am – merely eight minutes following the synchronization of Guthrie’s pacemaker with her iPhone.

Investigative authorities believe Guthrie was abducted from her residence during the window between her last sighting around 10 pm and the time captured on the video. Although it remains uncertain whether any vehicle traveled past more than once or if any of the cars in the footage drove past the 84-year-old’s residence repeatedly.

The video stemmed from the camera of a nearby residence in Catalina Foothills, Tucson, Arizona, approximately seven minutes away from Guthrie’s home. Furthermore, several neighbors reported encountering a suspicious male near Guthrie’s residence in the weeks leading up to her abduction.

Savannah Guthrie, Nancy’s daughter, reportedly made the difficult decision to return to her anchoring role on The Today Show in New York. She visited the TV studios alongside her husband, Michael Feldman, expressing gratitude for the support and prayers received. Savannah’s decision to resume work was motivated by her children and family life, rooted in her enduring love for the job she holds and the legacy left by her mother, Nancy. Amidst the evolving circumstances surrounding Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, Savannah and her family are navigating a challenging period, bolstered by the understanding that remaining in Arizona will not influence the ongoing investigation into Nancy’s disappearance.

As Savannah navigates the complexities of returning to NBC, the future of her role on The Today Show remains uncertain but optimistic. Though reclaiming her position on the show after enduring recent events poses a formidable challenge, Savannah’s unwavering dedication to her career and family signifies her commitment to honoring Nancy’s legacy and engaging in her professional pursuits.
