Aldous Harding reveals upcoming album ‘Train On The Island’, listen to new track “One Stop”

Since the release of 2022’s Warm Chris, Aldous Harding has been actively collaborating with artists like Perfume Genius, John Parish, and Sleaford Mods. Now, the talented New Zealand-born singer-songwriter, currently based in Wales, has revealed the exciting news of her upcoming fifth studio album, Train On The Island.

Train On The Island was brought to life through a collaborative effort between Harding and producer John Parish at Rockfield Studios located in Monmouth, Wales. This studio has also been the birthplace of some of Harding’s previous works, including Party in 2017, Designer in 2019, and Warm Chris. The album boasts an impressive lineup of musicians, including pedal steel player Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpist Mali Llewelyn, synth artist Thomas Poli, drummer Sebastian Rochford from Polar Bear, and Huw Evans, also known as H. Hawkline, on bass, vocals, acoustic/electric guitar, and organ.

The lead single from the album, “One Stop,” comes with an accompanying music video directed by Michelle Henning, offering fans a visual insight into Harding’s artistic vision.
