Gorillaz Begin 23-Date North American Tour in Orlando, FL on Sept. 17
Gorillaz are set to embark on a 23-date North American tour, kicking off in Orlando, FL on September 17. This tour marks their first extensive North American tour since 2022, following two L.A. shows where they performed their latest album, “The Mountain,” in its entirety.
The virtual act, created by Gorillaz co-creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, will come to life on stage with Albarn accompanied by the Gorillaz live band and special guest performers. The tour includes 22 arena dates across the U.S. and Canada, culminating with a Halloween night finale in Seattle, WA. Little Simz will join Gorillaz on most dates, and Deltron 3030 will appear in all shows.
Since their inception, Gorillaz, consisting of singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle, and drummer Russel Hobbs, have produced a multitude of classic tunes like “Feel Good Inc.,” “Clint Eastwood,” “On Melancholy Hill,” “DARE,” “Dirty Harry,” “Stylo,” and many more. Their latest album, “The Mountain,” was released on their new independent KONG label, featuring singles such as “The Happy Dictator,” “The Manifesto,” “The God of Lying,” “Damascus,” and “Orange County.”
