Morgan Nagler Releases Fresh Track “Hurt”: Check it Out
On Friday, Morgan Nagler, a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles known for her work with bands like Whispertown and Supermoon, is set to release her debut solo album titled “I’ve Got Nothing To Lose, And I’m Losing It.” Previously, we shared tracks “Grassoline” and “Heartbreak City” from the album, which features collaborations with various indie artists. Many of these artists joined forces with Nagler on “Hurt,” the latest song she unveiled. Contrary to what the title might suggest, this is not a Nine Inch Nails cover but rather a vibrant country-rock tune. Nagler teamed up with Suzy Shinn to write the song, and it was co-produced by Kyle Thomas, also known as King Tuff, who will be joining Nagler on tour. Thomas contributes backup vocals and plays guitar on the track, while Meg Duffy (Hand Habits) adds a slide guitar solo at the end. Bethany Cosentino from Best Coast, Allison Crutchfield from Snocaps, and Madi Diaz provide backing vocals as well. Be sure to give it a listen below.
“I’ve Got Nothing To Lose, And I’m Losing It” will be available on March 13th through Little Operation Records Yet More. Make sure to mark your calendars for this release and stay tuned for more exciting music from Nagler and her talented collaborators.
