Tinsley Ellis has recently unveiled his latest song and video, “Sweet Ice Tea,” on March 9th. This track is part of his newest album, Labor Of Love, which is his second acoustic album featuring all original material. Available in CD, Georgia peach-colored vinyl LP, and digital formats, Labor Of Love has been receiving widespread acclaim from various music outlets and publications around the world.

“Sweet Ice Tea” made its debut on the popular radio show Acoustic Café, reaching over 120 markets. The album quickly climbed to the top of various music charts, including #1 on the NACC Blues Genre Chart, The Big Blues Radio Chart, and the Folk Alliance International Radio Chart’s Top 50. It has also been successful on blues radio charts in countries like France, Australia, Canada, and the UK.

Describing the inspiration behind “Sweet Ice Tea,” Ellis shared that it is a hill country blues song dedicated to his love for Soul Food. The accompanying video was directed by Tony Bieser, known for directing Ellis’s previous music videos. Labor Of Love features 13 original tracks that delve into themes like floods, voodoo spirits, personal struggles, and spiritual solace. Ellis’s unique blend of musical influences shines through each song, showcasing his emotional depth and musical prowess developed over his four-decade-long career.
