Kim Bada of Sinawe, apprehended in Sokcho after two months on the run, has charges dropped

An arrest warrant for Kim Bada, also known as Kim Jungnam, the former lead singer of the rock band Sinawe, was recently dismissed by the court after he was accused of possessing and using marijuana. The Chuncheon District Court Sokcho Branch dismissed the warrant after Judge Joyakdol found insufficient grounds for detention, such as a risk of flight or destruction of evidence.

Despite facing these allegations, Kim appeared at the court for a warrant review but did not provide any comments to reporters. He had been on the run for about two months before being apprehended by the police in downtown Sokcho. In 2015, he rejoined Sinawe and has since been a familiar face on music programs and even released a solo track titled “Nugu” in 2018.
