Kacey Musgraves reveals new album ‘Middle Of Nowhere’ with single ‘Dry Spell’

Kacey Musgraves is gearing up for the release of her sixth LP, “Middle Of Nowhere,” on May Day. Co-produced by her longtime collaborators Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, the album features notable artists like Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings, and Gregory Alan Isakov. The title of the album, inspired by a sign in Musgraves’ hometown of Golden, TX, reflects her exploration of “liminal space” during the creative process.

Exploring the concept of being in the “middle of nowhere” both physically and emotionally, Musgraves found solace in the undefined spaces of her life.
