Wellington’s rock outfit Wet Denim has returned with their latest single, “Living Room,” showcasing their evolving sound. The track delves into themes of routine and monotony, highlighting the feelings of loss and despair that accompany a lack of purpose. Produced in collaboration with songwriter and guitarist Ben O’Leary from Drax Project, “Living Room” retains the band’s indie flair while incorporating robust rhythm and powerful guitars.

Formed in 2022, Wet Denim is composed of Nick Goodwin, Luca Crampton, Jack, and Joe Ledword, and has quickly established itself as one of New Zealand’s most dynamic live acts. Their previous projects, including “On The Line” in 2024 and their self-titled EP in 2022, garnered attention from radio stations like Triple J in Australia and developed a dedicated following in New Zealand. The band’s energetic performances have taken them across various stages in New Zealand and abroad, including tours of Australia and headline shows in Melbourne and New Zealand, as well as appearances at numerous festivals.

With their upcoming performance at Jim Beam Homegrown in Hamilton, Wet Denim is embarking on a new chapter. Fans can anticipate more electrifying performances and music from the band as they continue to evolve their style and reach new heights in their career.
