The highly-anticipated show, “Interview With the Vampire,” is making a comeback with a new title – “The Vampire Lestat.” Fans can now mark their calendars as AMC has announced that the show will premiere on Sunday, June 7. Along with this exciting news, AMC has also dropped a new song titled “All Fall Down” from the musical third season of the show.

The upcoming season will focus on a rock and roll-centric storyline, following the main character, the Vampire Lestat, as he embarks on an electric multi-city tour. Throughout this journey, he is haunted by ‘muses’ from his wild and rebellious past. As his band gains popularity and star power, Lestat’s influence over both vampires and humans grows. This rise of power coincides with the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.

The show will see the return of Sam Reid as the titular vampire Lestat de Lioncourt, alongside Jacob Anderson portraying Louis de Pointe du Lac. Rolin Jones will be back as the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer, joined by a team of executive producers including Mark Johnson, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice.

Daniel Hart, the series composer, has crafted original music and lyrics for Lestat’s rock star journey this season. These songs will be performed by Sam Reid himself. Leading up to the premiere, AMC has teased fans with the rock single “Long Face,” and now, the full song “All Fall Down” is available on streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

According to Hart, “All Fall Down” serves as the title track for the new season and originated as an early song by the Vampire Lestat during the band’s formative years. Inspired by rock icons like Bowie and T. Rex, the song captures the essence of a wild, raw, and self-deprecatingly funny Lestat as he evolves throughout the season.

In a press release, AMC shared a quote from the Vampire Lestat himself, humorously remarking on the brevity of the song. “All Fall Down” clocks in at just 68 seconds, with harmonies on the chorus that the character claims credit for.

Fans can catch the premiere of “The Vampire Lestat” on AMC and AMC+ on June 7. To get a taste of the upcoming season, you can now stream “All Fall Down” and experience the musical journey of Lestat and his band.
